Keri's personal journey is one of transformation and love. Once in the rat-race and working in politics in New York City, Keri was "asleep" and unconscious until the age of 28.

She arose from her slumber during her Saturn Return through yoga and by completing the Landmark Forum, introduced to her by her first yoga teacher.

With prominent aspects of the planet Chiron in Keri’s chart, she could be described as a “wounded healer.”  With low self-esteem and insecurities, she has journeyed through tremendous self-hatred into love and acceptance.  She used to be a “sheeple” steeped in the matrix, but thankfully she has stepped out of its various boxes and has now dedicated her life to questioning society’s different levels of conditioning.

While she was in the matrix, Keri got a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University (NYU) and became a licensed social worker in New York and Hawaii.  She worked as a trauma therapist and taught Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness as an adjunct professor for psychology graduate students. She also co-created and co-facilitated "Be. Here. Now." workshops teaching therapists tools to increase their capacity to be more present in their sessions.

These days, Keri calls herself an “ex-therapist”. She doesn’t give diagnoses or participate in taking insurance because of the bureaucratic and pathological operating ways of the mental health system.  She offers a sliding scale rate as well as scholarships to low-income people and people of color so that more people can access her services.

At the same time she was studying to become a therapist, Keri completed over a year and a half of transformational and experiential self-awareness courses at  Landmark Education, including an intensive six month leadership program.

She became an Access Consciousness Bars™ Energy-work Practitioner in June of 2012 in New York City.  Learning, practicing, and receiving energy-healing transformed her life and she quickly became an Access Bars™ Facilitator to teach others how to access their own consciousness through energy-movement.

In July 2015, Keri completed a Past-Life Regression Therapy training by psychiatrist and author of Many Lives, Many Masters Dr. Brian Weiss

Since 2017, she has been studying one of the original Tarot Decks (the Rider-Waite deck), an awareness tool that's been used all over the world for the past 600 years. She learned the Tarot from Hawai’i based Astrologer and Tarot Reader Claudia Suen.

She spent over ten years participating in a demanding 10-day silent meditation course led by S.N. Goenka and in 2018 sat a rigorous 21-day silent meditation course. These days Keri still sits regularly, but she also sees gardening as her morning meditation, and is mindful to engage in everything with a level of observation and awareness. In this way, she focuses on integrating time spent on the zafu into her daily experience.

Keri enjoys moving her body consciously. One of her passions is practicing Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms™ dance meditation and she has gone through the 5Rhythms™ Spaceholder training to bring the dance practice to the Big Island. She has been practicing yoga for more than a decade and in 2020, Keri completed a 200-hour online yoga teacher training.

Keri’s most recent and notable teacher and mentor is eco-activist and human extraordinaire Rashani Réa. Keri lives at Kipukamaluhia - Rashani’s off-grid eco-sanctuary located at the most southern tip of the Hawaiian islands. She cares for a unique menagerie of four-legged and winged ones at Kipukamaluhia, including dogs, cats, peacocks, goats and a horse. Keri didn’t have any animals until she was almost 40 years old, and they all bring her tremendous joy.

The only thing that she wants to do more than have client sessions is…nothing! (And maybe eat delicious organic food, too.)  She is a yogini, dancer, writer, gardener, farmer, and organic chef. Keri greatly enjoys growing her own vegetables, and prides herself on cooking meals with ingredients grown on the land.

Other amazing teachers and leaders that Rashani has introduced her to include Krishnamurti, Vimala Takar, Byron Katie, Joan Tollifson, Robert Saltzman, Thich Nhat Hanh, Joanna Macy, Peter Fenner, Gangaji and Adyashanti to name a few favorites.

Keri considers herself to be a recovering new-ager. She was lost in new-age subculture for nearly ten years searching for liberation as if it was something to strive for or ascend to.  She created a self-identity and self-image defined by this subculture and is very grateful to have “gotten out”.

Keri has always been a leader and ahead of her time. She is clear that one of the ways she can contribute to the evolution of this planet is by sharing her own journey and by assisting others to transform and to connect with who we truly are.

Keri sees clients in-person on the Big-Island of Hawaii and online. She offers Transformative Energy-Movement & Self-Inquiry to increase awareness, acceptance and Love, and question conditioning.

It is her honor and privilege to hold space and facilitate transformation for others.
